Private Message Multiple User Chooser

Hi,

Dean sent me over here. ;)

I searched on the boards, but didn't come with anything here or on vBulletin.com.

When you go to send a new PM, is there a way to choose multiple users? I know that when I used phpBB there was a little pop-up window mod that I installed with a pull down box of all the users. You could just click on the name and it would insert it into the PM send to box.

This would be so cool!

Simply put the usernames you want to PM separated by a semi colon in the to field.

Hi,

That's obvious. I want a pop-up box that lists the usernames. Othewise you have to click on each name and send a PM.

Any ideas on how to make this work would be appreciated! :)

if you have 10,000 members on your board, it could slow your server down with this hack.

That's exactly what I was thinking, same reason in the admin panel you must type in a name. But if Zero Tolerance is on it I am wlling to bet he'll come up with a logical solution. :)

I've created an "Advanced Recipients List Control" feature for the PM send, it's mainly powered by Javascript, hardly any php involved, however i think it's pretty nifty, i guess i'll go release it ;)
