I'm on Firefox, I see your articles just fine (except missing icons - probably an issue with you not having GD2 installed on your server )

What do you mean place article category on main page ?

In the admin panel ....
On my main forums page... http://www.synthguide.com/forums/ How do I place a link (category) to my articles at http://www.synthguide.com/forums

I'm sorry, I still don't get you. :(
You'd have to try to describe your problem in greater detail so I can try to help you. ;)

When I create a new category in vbarticles, the new category is not present on http://www.synthguide.com/forums/ (Forums Home)

(ex: if you click on any of the categories (on http://www.synthguide.com/forums/ (Forums Home)) you will not go to http://www.synthguide.com/forums/articles.php (articles Home)

How do I link (Forums Home) to (Articles Home)?

Why should it be present on your Forums Home ?
Creating an article category simply ( as it's name suggests... ) creates an article category in your articles section :)

If you are asking for a link to be shown on your Forums Home, linked to the Articles section, you can make your News Articles forum as a forum redirect, to the articles section.
