Random Image

I don't know if there's a working existing mod for this yet or now, but I would like an area on my front page (vbadvanced portal) that pulls a random image from my gallery (vbgallery). Just something that will tie the gallery into the front page and let people know it exists so they would be prompted to look further. If one doesn't already exist, could someone code something like this?
