Odd little error

When I go to log into my admin panel, I get a javascript error.

Line:11
Character:17
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
Code:0
url: (gives specific url of admin index.php)

I've tried replacing the templates with all default templates.
I've tried replacing the admin index.php with the default file.

Neither made any difference. has anyone had this problem occur? Any advice on how to troubleshoot it?

have you hacked your admincp at all?

I got a similar error using vB 3.0.5, and it just goes away after upgrading to 3.0.6

I am running 3.0.6

The error only seems to exist in IE...Firefox doesn't popup any problems.

Yes, I have added a number of hacks, which is why I reset the templates and set them to a default set and reset the index file to a unhacked one.

This error is just occuring on the admincp login

is there any way to troubleshoot whats causing this?

It's obviously a hack thats causing it...but without going through and removing them one by one is there any method to get more information on an error like this?

Reverting the templates and setting the plain templates to the default...setting them as default on my login and replacing all the admincp files to their defaults didn't make a difference. Any other ideas?

It's most likely something in the JS files within the clientscript dir then :)

I found on mine there was an actual problem with the admincp/options.php file.

It is a blank space in the drop down menu list.

Do you know where that is stored in the MySQL database?

Thanks
