Status of Members...
 
Is there a hack to let "not activated or Banned" people to be aware of their status if they try to post and get a "no access" error msg...

just so ppl know what they need to do? The current msg is vague for the not so net savvy....

Maybe somethig that says...

[Error Msg]

username: [username]
status: [status]

Oh... and a followup question...

Can the "Banned" status appear different if they are "temporarily banned" for only a few days... instead of permanent...

You could easily edit the phrases for it.

Read this article and edit the usergroups to make your own message. I would just put it in the header like the article mentions, but you could also put it in that error template instead...
