New Posts in last X hours
 

It would be nice to have a feature that worked similarly to the current "New Posts" search, but instead of just showing the new posts since a users last session, it would show new posts since a user defined number of hours ago. A lot of users on my board, including myself, use the New Posts search religiously, and just hopping on for a quick check of PMs or something resets your session time and can cause you to miss posts on a busy board. This would fix that.

I see it as either a drop down menu with predefined intervals (like "last 1 hour" "last 2 hours" "last 5 hours" "last 10 hours" etc.), or an input box that the user could enter the number of hours. It could either be located on the forum home, or on the advanced search page.

If something like this already exists, I'd appreciate a point in the right direction. I did a search here but didn't find anything.
