Amusing Support Requests you have received

What's your favourite?

Here's one I just got in a PM on another forum:

Quote:

hi sorry to bug you
but how do u save your ftp files once you have done?/
My response:

The usual practice is to click the File menu and choose the option called 'Save'.

I'd call more of them frustrating than amusing... :)

I ignore code-related PMs sent to me because they should be made in public (a la my signature).

Remember everybody has to learn at some time. It just makes you look far less intelligent when the poster can't even bother to capitalize, punctuate, and spell out words.

When you become vB staff, you get them 10-400 times a day, 366 days a year

I answer everyone I get.

I refer them to Zach. ;)

dang, all the PMs i been getting is requests from people that dont know how to use the search or they dont even bother asking the creator of the hack to do something.

Regarding my most recent service request, I'm most amused how many are not even following the directions in the post. If you can't follow directions, you'll never do too well in a professional environment...

well my most common problem is asking about my permissions phrases for vB Journal... i just say look under fixes/updates. of course everyone ignores that section of my post>_>
