Warning, AIM user asking for hacks
 

Please be on the lookout for a user under the aim name of gametour asking for hacks. He is not a licensed customer.

lol, this guy was on my buddy list asking me to install some hacks...did he ever get licensed? Thank God I told him no.

You get this all the time on non-vB support sites. These clowns come along and tell you that 'for some odd reason' they can't get that file on vB.org or .com and could you get it for them.

My response is always the same: BUY A LICENSE, YOU THIEF!

I can't stand IM programs, so there's no worry there for me.

If you haven't hidden your additional info here to unlicensed users yet, do it now (option in usercp)! :)

I remember having a few of these people contact me in the past..

I really do suggest to do what Oblivion Knight mentioned. Before that feature was implemented I was getting messages on a dialy basis because the person "couldn't download for some weird reason even know he was licenced"

first people Emailing, then PM now AIM whats next.

I really think it should be a default option that unregistered and unlicensed users shouldnt see any of our contact information even if we dont set it in our control panel. that way its more secure not to give anything out by mistake over some email, PM or IM.

thats why you charge them to install hacks and need half upfront and then don't install them :P
