users cant view garage
 

I just upgraded from 3.1.1 to 4.0.2

Admins can view the garages fine. but registered users cannot (yes the radio button is set to yes).

I suspect this part of the instructions is the problem:
5. In the ADMINCP, under vBulletin Options, select vBGarage from the dropdown list. Make any necessary changes to the defaults and click Save. Even if you do not make any changes, you must click Save. *** THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! :) ***

becuase I dont have a vBGarage under the vBulletin options. What do I have to edit to fix this?

You didn't edit and save a phrase to get the phrases visible I'm pretty sure.

tried doing this again... no avail :(
still getting the no permission page

Try running the part two of install_vbgarage.php, update after vbulletin upgrades and let us know what happens.

Table settinggroup->grouptitle=vbgarage updated.
Table setting->varname=vbgenable updated.
Table setting->varname=vbgcomments updated.
Table setting->varname=vbgmaxupload updated.
Table setting->varname=vbgmaxfilesize updated.

Now you may need to go to
Admin Control Panel->vBulletin Options->vBGarage Options
Update the options and click "SAVE".

You may want to check each groups permissions as well.

PLEASE DELETE THIS FILE!

And when i went to the vBulletin options...this time I DID have vBgarage options... last time I did not.

I must of did something out of order.
