Showing a thread on non VB HTML pages
 
How can I show the most popular thread from a specific forum on a non VB page? I have already used the search and the only thing that came up was VBadvance homepage but it is not what I want. All I want is to show few topics on a HTML pages.
If you know a hack please let me know.

Hi
I tried it but I get bunch of errors and it seems to have a security issue. It can access private forums and make them public by showing the content on home page.

Any other solutions?

Nope, none that I am aware of.

Put a query in a php file to get the data, write the data to a file with html formatting.

Make the php file a cron job in vB that runs say every hour.

Include the created file in your html.

Just thinking out loud.
