Hello,

I am in need of a fairly big hack that will make myself and all of my members happy.

What I want is a voting system to be made.

What it does:

The voting system will be a section where users can rate a "webhost" or "service provider" and leave feedback if wanted.

How does it work:

There will be a submission button at the bottom of the page so webhost owners can request a place in this section. If approved by an admin they will be shown on the section and will be able to be rated by our members.

Members will be able to either rate the webhost (0 - 5 stars) and leave feedback on their experience if wanted.

This is a good hack that could be used for many different things, such as "bands, games..etc" however I want it for webhosts and service providers.

Please help, as I do require this quite urgently.

Since you need this urgently... I think you can accomplish this without a hack by using the built-in polling function.

Set up your are so that only forum staff can start threads, but everyone can read and reply to them. when a hosts requests to be included, begin a thread with an attached poll. Users can vote 1 - 5, and leave comments in a reply to the thread.
