Action to change other people's user groups

I have some warped puppies in my community: some of the "community underworld" wants to be able to purchase the ability to change OTHER people's user groups, ie send them to a user group that has limited access (for a few days).

We call it our dungeon. Nevermind... LOL.

Any way to add an action so that members can change other member's secondary usergroup????

Secondary usergroups cannot limit access. ;)

Actually you could couldnt you?

If only a specific secondary group had access to a specific forum, then changing that secondary usergroup to something else would cause them to lose access, right?

And you could add a comment for templates for things you don't want them to access, like the arcade that would say something like if the member is in such and such usergroup (the one with limited access) for it to display a message that they have lost access to that, else, it displays normally.

I'd have to look up the syntax for the conditionals in the template, but hypothetically it should be entirely possible as long as the group they are moving FROM is the only group that can access the forums you want to disable for them.

The reason I say that is because on my forum everyone is a registered user, and then I use secondary usergroups to control their forum access as it is a site with multiple clans.

thought of that. If you change someone's secondary user group, to Dungeon, for instance, they still have their primary "registered" user group. So, you really can't deny them access to the rest of the forum with the secondary user group action.

I've created a "dungeon" on my forum, for the "bad" people. I can send them there, for a period of a few days, using the AWS system. But some of my forum members want the option to purchase the ability to send someone to the dungeon. Nefarious little puppies, aren't they.

Any idea how to do this? Can someone write an "action" that enables this???? My "underworld" would greatly appreciate it.
