Moving portion of navbar into the header?

Hello,

I've tried to get this accomplished, but cannot seem to get it to work.

I'm wanting to move the navbit navigation into my header at the very top of my vbpage, but cannot seem to get this to work. When moved, all I get is the main forum name but never any of the subfolders.

Any insights would be great.
