Admin Only

Hi,
Is there a hack where members can post and only admin and mods and the posting member can see this post.

And no other members or usergroups can see or read the posts.

If so.......... whats it called?

do a lil search for "locked down" or hide hack. i think vbstyles.com has released such mod you looking for.

Thats not what I need M8.

I need a hack that allows members to make a post in a specific section and these posts are only viewable by admin and mods and the original poster and thats it.

This could be done with standard permission system.

Just set permissions not to allow reading threads of others.

Yeh but thats per usergroup not per user.

Someone here doesn't understand something. From what I understand, you want a system where normal members a and b can post threads c and d respectively and all admins can see both threads, but member a can only see thread c, not d; member b can only see thread d, not c. I have a forum like this, and it is done with the standard permissions system. For the normal usergroups, you set is so can read own threads and can reply to own threads is yes, and can read others' threads and can reply to others' threads is no, then for the administration groups, you leave the settings default.

Yes it is already a part of VB and I found this out today.

Thanks all.
