Feedback on "Lite" Design~
 

Hi, I was looking for some feedback on the general feel of a Lite theme - as in a style that contains much less images than the other ones on our site.

Miscellaneous hacks here and there, but most subtle enough not to notice. We're using photopost and the ushop hack also. Thanks. :)

It looks really nice. How do you shade the colored bars? The other ones are too dark for me, but the lite version is great.

they are just 1-pixel width png gradients. Then applied in css as a backgroud image and repeated (x or y, depending on which one)

Overall, I prefer the LITE over the other styles...
the use gradients is a bit "overload".

Also, the header -- no expansion (liquid) and than the buttons (night, undead, orc) just stick out like a soar thumb. If you ask me it's not needed -- to me it looks like you are trying to "fill" an area.
