Linking Templates

Hello!
Im trying to link a template from a different one..
What I mean is if I can have the Forumhome linked to a template with the name forumhome2 for instance.
I was wondering if this is possible.

It's possible except you'd need to define the template and it's variables in the php file

Assuming that you put this in index.php before template forumhome is being used you can put $forumhome2 in template forumhome and the content will appear there - if this is what you want.
Also make sure that the template is being cached.

But to which Url should I link the Forumhome to Forumhome2? Should I just put a link that says "go to forumhome2" in order to get the template loaded?. Thanks for everything
