HOW 2 add Variables to the HTML Markup in USERGROUPS?

Hi... in the USergroup section of the admin cp there is a Username HTML Markup.

I tried to use if statements but it didnt work (has a length limit) I also tried to put a variable there that is universal on the site. (didnt show.)

Is there a way or a hack that could allow standard template conditions in that area?

PLEASE and THANK YOU. :squareeyed:

You can't put variables/conditions in there, this wold require a hack.
What do you want to achieve?

LOL
what we talked about in PM. LOL.
hey Kirby..

See if I put a "*" for registered users all reg. users will have that star. What I want to do is have users that fill out a field (say 20) a icon shows by thier name.

bout it. the icons are named exactly the same as the options in the field.

Update... Been doing some testing. Can a string be placed there?

any idea how to hack this to take $post or usergroup filed var. in this area?

ANyone would know how to do this?
What I am trying to do is have the flag hack work with user names. (This has nothing really to do with that hack)
so if I picked a flag or anything for that matter in field 20 that flag should show next to my name.

but I wouldnt want this to show in the postbit or profile page. only say forumhome or anywhere else a small hyperlink of my name would be.

Please help. Thank you
