Is this possible? Index on one domain, forum on another?
 
I started my site years ago at xxxx.COM, but when I put up my message board, I put it on xxx.NET to save on server space.

xxx.COM is what shows up in all of the search engines and directories, but xxx.NET is where are the 'traffic' is.

I'd like to keep xxx.COM as the home page of my site, and would like to install the Index hack here. Would that be possible since my actual vBulletin is at xxx.NET?

You will run into cookie problems with 2 different 2nd level domains.
