Custom meta-tags for each thread

Hey all --

I believe this would be a GREAT hack for our boards. In thread tools, or somewhere like that, make it so the administrators or mods can add custom meta tags to the thread.

I have like 1000 pages already on yahoo but all it has is the title of the thread and then the homepage meta name and tag... therefore, not giving me worthwhile search engine rankings.

I'm sure you guys can understand what I mean.

I agree.
This would be an excellent addon to vBulletin.
But, it would be great if the meta keywords could be extracted from the thread itself and added to the meta tags

I think such a hack wouldn't be difficult to create.
But : Search engines don't care (much) for meta-tags as they have been spammed way too much.
