bb code in profile field
 

Is there a way to activate bbcode, or in particular, the url code in an extra profile field?

Example: If I have a Bio section, and the member wants to add a link to a website in the bio.

This really depends on where you want it to be converted and where you don't!

Like...

Convert to link in the 'profile page', but not in the 'members list page'

Then you will also need to add a simple control, that will tell the function what [bbcode] to allow and what [bbcode] not to allow in the profile field!

If you give detailed info, I will show you how to do this!

All i need is it to convert web addresses into hyperlinks in a certain profile field.

You can do this with a template mod for the postbit. Here is what I am using to show images. Just change the field # and the actually HTML between the Div's and your set.

I don't think that has anything to do with the request.
