Thread titles from 1 category on site index page?
I am a very new user, and have seen several posts about getting information to the front index page of a site, but I dont understand it.
Can someone post step by step instructions? I know for those familiar with PHP this is an elementary question, but for me, it seems like a whole new world. I have created my front page in PHP format, and would like to show the data in this format on my front page: Today : January 17 2005 Most Recent Post in Category A (just the text of the title with link to page) 2nd Post in Category A 3rd Post in Category A (total of 15 here) Yesterday: January 16 2005 Youngest post yesterday in Category A 2nd Youngest Post yesterday in Category A 3rd Youngest Post yesterday in Category A (total of 15) 2 Days Ago: January 15 2005 (total of 10) Thanks so much for your help. It is greatly appreciated! I have been mulling over these posts for 2 weeks now, and I have not been able to figure it out. If you need to know, I am using dreamweaver. |
If you could point me to the right direction. That would be a huge help!
Thanks Kim Just a quick update. I found a tutorial on PHP, free 16 lesson deal that I am using to get familiar with the language. I will get it..... eventually! lol :) Thanks for a great forum! |
Figured it out.
Thanks! |
