Your Political Stance?

An odd thread i suppose, just thought i'd make it...Well the question is in the title.

I am a Royalist :D *Waits for the rotton eggs* I also like some Communist points, such as state schools, and ranking equality.....But i believe a monarch should rule a country and it is duty, as a British citizen [or anywhere else for that matter] to respect the monarch.

(regarding american politics...)
I'll bite. I'm an independant that leans slightly towards conservatism moreso than liberalism, but I'd say I'm pretty well centralist. Call me wishy-washy, but I can't associate with a particular party as I like certain things on both sides.

Hopefully the members here at vbulletin.org will realize this thread is just for stating your political stance and will keep the thread from turning into a political flame-war.

:)

^ That is indeed what i thought, when posting the thread i did conclude that this forum is a mature one, that im sure can cope lasto ;] So do not fear...

I am the same but opposite- I can't associate myself with a particular party because I hate most things about both sides.

somehow in this day and age i beleive its hard for anyoen to think they have to bow before queen and country. The dark ages are long gone and so has the kings and queens power (well most of it anyway) least we not forget when they had power they abused it badly and massacred millions in their name.
I am british yet i hold no allegiance to the Queen or in that fact England cause England is not great no more like she once was. This country is being turned over to anyone who wants it.Would i fight for my country - simple answer is NO.

I would at least have a *bit* of patriotism for my country. You live in it after all, and they offer you a safe place to live. You have to think about the others, less fortunate, who live in places which are not safe. You have to be thankful that you live in a country that offers safety to you - and an army so you never have to "fight" for your country.

Australia is still under the Queen's rule, although she doesn't actually do much for the country in terms of power-tripping and decisions, she's still technically the head.
