vB and SMS
 

Having read through the search results for SMS text messaging I still cant see a definitive answer as to if this is possible or not and how much it might cost.

Therefor I am asking if anyone would be prepared to write a hack for this for which I am willing to pay a suitable amount.

Ideally -

User when registering is asked to enter a mobile number, country code etc - a suitable warning message and privacy statement to popup or show.

When another user wishes to SMS them rather than email or pm then they are told that the cost of the SMS will be charged back (somehow !!!) to them or they must agree to accept SMS messaging on their own phone from one of the free providers and that they will receive adverts on their phone in doing so.

Ideally the sender will not want the adverts and they will be charged a very small fee by the site on top of the message sending cost - therefore contributing to the running of the site.

Anyone willing to take this on ?

writing a script like this shouldn't be hard but I don't know how to contact with the phone by the given number. I'd like to learn if there's any script that use to send sms but wasn't integrated with vb yet.

ive started looking into it ... not that i already have enough to do at the moment but im interested in developing something here ...

I have a friend sending me some cgi sms gateway scripts ;)
