Avatar dimensions

Hey,

For some weird reason, my members are able to upload avatars and profile pics the are bigger than the allowed settings. I recreated the member usergroup in phpmyadmin, so it should use the default settings, but that didn't fix it, so I guess it must be in a php.file, somewhere, does anyone have a clue which one could be the one...I compared all my hacked files, with the original ones, but I just can't find it...

Greets,

Do you have member groups? If so the permissions might come from there.

not that I'm aware off...but I did an import some time back that broke some settings...so it might be that import left another error somewhere...

Check your individual usergroup settings.

well, I checked them all, multiple times, but f.e. registered members are allowed to upload custom avatars, with 100x100 dimensions, according to the usergroup manager, but in reality they can upload avatars as big as they want...

Hmm, in User CP it states 100x100, 19.5 KB
But I was able to upload a JPEG that was way larger in dimensions and filesize, but it was resized to 100x75 and renamend to a .gif file (although it is still a JPEG).

Do you get any hack installed there ?

I've got the wide images resize hack installed there...but I think I found the problem...I logged in as several users, and noticed that the images for new users are being resized, but old/imported users can upload whatever they want...

"Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 0 by 0 pixels or 0 Bytes (whichever is smaller)."

Is there a query I can run to update the setting for the older/imported users??
