Colored search results based on forum
 

I did a search for something like this, but couldn't find anything.

I have a somewhat devided forum, or groups of people. I'm trying to make it so when someone clicks on the "New Posts" (since last visit) link, when they get their results, certain forum results will be highlighted in light red for example and the others will be their regular color (gray or white for example). This would provide a quick reference for the desired results.

Or, a mod that allows users to specify "which forums" they will see in their results, or the option to remove certain forums from being displayed.

Oh that would be especially helpful to me...

I hope that you don't mind but I want to add a second challenge to it - I run a site that is about all the different NFL teams & typically do the "new posts" search when I log on - what would be really nifty would be to have each team's forum's posts show up in one of their colors...IE all posts in the Broncos area would be orange, all posts in the Raiders would be grey, etc...

It is a great idea, and my vbulletin neighborhoods hack, requested (not yet made), includes something like this. And, no, I am not posting for the sole purpose of advertising my idea.
