Dynamic "mark forums as read" in bavbar

I think this feature would be very nice.
Wha it does is this:

A [Mark all forums read] in the navbar.
however...

When you go to see a forum, it changes to [Mark this forum as read]
when you read a thread, [Mark this thread as read]

etc. etc.

So I think it cuse conditionals to accomplish the changing options
based on user location and activity.

Can anyone think of a way to do this?
