I was very disappointed I can't use those two hacks together.
Simply said: As soon as you install BFC WebLog, you won't be able to post a new images. Your new templates made during Image Upload Hack install will be ignored.
Just make a really, REALLY small change in newthread.php(3) (the only one affected) to run it correctly.

Find this in newthread.php(3) file:

if ($foruminfo[newthreadtemplate]!="") {
$usetemplate=$foruminfo[newthreadtemplate];
} else {
$usetemplate="newthread";
}

Replace with:

if ($foruminfo[newthreadtemplate]!="") {
$usetemplate=$foruminfo[newthreadtemplate];
}
elseif ($forumid == $newsforum) {
$usetemplate="newnews";
} else {
$usetemplate="newthread";
}

As you can see, simple "else" was causing the problem. ;)
