Three Minutes Silence For Tsunami Victims
 

There is a three minute silence being held worldwide today 04 Jan 05 for the people affected by the Tsunami.

It is at 12:00 midday in everyones individual timezones.

I'll be taking part. Will you?

Of course....I was so suprised for once to see Britain stood still. I was in town [Manchester, England] at the time, and there was not a single person, and Manchester is a very busy city, that was moving, everybody just stood still, the trams stopped wheere ever they were....It was definatly something for this nation to be proud of. :)

While a nice sentiment, it might have been better to have three minutes of silence for those left behind.

It's sad in a way that only a tragedy of this magnitude can unite the world, even if only for a moment ..

RIP.
