How do you show online users in Header
 
I just love the simplicity of showing how many users online in the header. I tried every which way to copy and paste the WOL $totalusers into the header and all i get is the phrase online users, but no number.

is there something i have to call or refer to in the beginning. is this because of something that need to be cached (not sure what that really means). Please help!

I would like to have the same ability to show online users in the header the way it is shown (not the same format of course) here at vbulletin.org.
