Arranging posts by number rather than time
 

The posts on my forum appear to be all over the place within the thread. I know this is down to the server clock, but my host is very slow to do anything these days, so I am trying to find out if anyone knows how to arrange posts within a thread by post number rather than by time posted?

I would be very reluctant to leave my current host despite this problem because right now we are a hosted site within a massive video gaming portal, and leaving our host would mean that 1) we would need to pay for hosting, and 2) we would miss out on traffic passing through from the main portal site.
