Does vB have a hack where the topics I post in a certain forum show up on the index of the site? Like a new feature?

Are you referring to a portal type index page? If yes, then the answer is yes. vbAdvanced (with or without CMPS) and several others are available, from third parties, to accomplish this.

You can choose one or more forums to feature posts from.

Depending on what you are looking for, by default, vb3 allows you to export topics in forums you choose as an rss feed. Its a simple matter to include that on a php or html page.

I just leased a 1 year license. The homepage of vbullentin.org is what I am looking for. In the middle of the page the news is posted and you can comment on it if you are a member of the forum. The topics are contained in a forum and shown on the index of the site.

That is the hack or portal I would like.

I don't think the hack that Vbulletin.org uses has ever been released. It's a custom job.

Amy is correct as vB.org has not released the portal they use here there are several ones located in our hacks database though.

They all have similar features though, so you will most likely get everything you want out of a portal.
