Missing member profiles

I've installed a bunch of hacks, all successfully, and they all seem to live well amongst each other. But, for some reason recently, I can't see member profiles. When clicking on a link that is supposed to bring up the member profile page (via member.php), we get a blank white page.

I've reverted to my original member.php code, and have also reverted to my original memberinfo template, all to no avail. What other templates / codes are utilized when attempting to bring up a member profile, so that I can try to troubleshoot this?? Is it possible that this could be a database issue? (Haven't messed in there though).

Thanks!

Upload a fresh profile.php :) Btw you have no scrollbar in firefox :o?

Dean, that didn't do it. Reverted back to original profile.php without any success. Bizarre, isn't this? Everything else works. I'm wondering if it's a template issue. But I just don't know where to look at this point.

Greatly appreciate the help.

Try making a default style for your board (no custom templates, stock vB3 style). And see if the profile loads then :)?

I loaded the default vbulletin style, is completely unadulterated. (it's on the style drop down list now). Still don't get member profiles to show up. So, can now we assume that this is not a template issue? And if it isn't, why didn't the member profile show back up when I reverted back to original member.php and profile.php?

Thanks!

maybe an include file is messed up somewhere in the includes/ dir? not sure if the profile page uses any of them but it might be where the problem lies

Browse to your vBulletin admin cp, under the Import & Maintenance section click 'update counters'

There is a option in there to fix broken user profiles, its the 4th one from the top. Run that and see if profiles load afterwards. :)

YOU DA MAN.

It was the /includes/functions_online.php file. I altered it installing vbpager (which, will be an awesome mod, once the bugs get worked out). I'll have to look at how I edited that one.

But, that was the bad file. Thanks, ever so much, to all of you.

OK, leave it to the rather large bald one to come up with yet another member issue. This one is even more bizarre.

My member profiles work fine, as long as you don't choose your own. Yes, for some reason, the member that is logged in, cannot view his own member profile, but can view others. I'm really, really, not sure how I did that.

I've got a bunch of hacks on the board, too many to remove, and they're all working together in a harmonious fashion (quite to my surprise). When I use the default unhacked VBulletin templates, I still have the same "can't see myself in the member profile" problem. So, I think it's a php edit. Problem is, I've reverted the member and profile files back a bit, still with the same problem. I've performed the "repair broken user profiles" in ADMIN CP/Board maintenance.

Again, do any of the Vbulletin gods here have any suggestions as to what part of the board might be causing this??

Thanks, yet again.

Aarrgh. It was the old /includes/functions_online.php file, yet again. Not sure what I've done to it to exclude the member profile of the logged in member, but that was the problem. Can anyone look at this thing and make this a learning experience for me???

Thanks!!
