Advanced IP filter/blocker

Greetengs.
Since recend eventы in P2P community, there's an urgent need to block my site from some too curious people...
It would be great if someone could make a modification that will block any attempts to register/log in from certain IPs that will be listed in some file... say, one of the formats that The Blocklist Manager supports. Thus the file could be edited and updated easily.
Hope, someone else found this idea usefull.
