Changing Member List Template to Show Smaller Avatars
 

My members have avatars which are personal photos, which I set at a maximum of 100pixels. It works out fine in the threads, but in the members list, where I do want to show the avatars, takes a long time to display for folks with dial ups and probably burns a lot of bandwith.

I was wondering if I changed the members results bit template so that in the HTML I preset the width of the avatar at a width of 50, if that will help the pages load faster o does it not make a difference, because it's still loading the full picture, it's just displaying it smaller.
