.htaccess and url...
 
is it possible to use .htaccess to mask my url?

my portal and forums both are on a forum directory.
what i would like to do is make www.mydomain.com to redirect me to forum.mydomain.com/home.php.
i did it with htaccess, but i want to mask the url to www.mydomain.com.

anyone knows how 2 do it with htaccess or any other ways?
