Private messaging [quote] removing

Is it possible to remove the ["quote"] that gets inserted in the private messages reply quotes? It would be so much better to have it only take the last message and quote that. Wouldnt that need some coding? I dont think just working off templates can do that.

After a few replies the quoting and requoting starts tilting to the right like a tree. Is it possible to just insert a message like "original message:" followed by the previous messages? that would be nice.

I did a hack on our forum that gives each user the option to forward/reply/quote replies in PM's, and also nest quotes in ordinary post replies. However the instrutions are not currently suitable for release here. If I get chance over the xmas holidays I will write them up properly and release it as a hack. :)

So nice of you to find that but I would rather that... but in a button.
like JUST a reply button.
so on my pm it would have 3 buttons.
forward. reply and quote.
