How are forum options stored in vb3
well im trying to add a new option but I cant figure out where in the world vb3 stores its options..
been looking for half an hour now and still nothin, some help would be appreciated :) |
they are stored in init.php as a bitwise option, if you want to add a new one you need to add the next bitwise value (double the last one) :)
|
thanks a lot for ur help mate :) here and on irc.. appreciate it! everthing should be working like a charm now :)
|
hmm okay still reading about this bitwise thing, but still cant figure out where vbulletin actually updates the forum options for the current functions. I see the 'options' row in the 'forum' table holds a certain number everywhere, im guessing that php can calculate it into the values for each options somehow but I dunno how to update it nor where vbulletin does it.. =\
any ideas? |
