Subscriptions? Mine don't seem to work :o
 

Hi,

I've setup 2 subscriptions;

Moderator
Administrator

When someone subscripts to Moderator, they should be put in the group "Game Moderator" and if someone subscribes to Administrator, they should be put in the "Game Administrator" group.

When someone subscribes, it doesn't change their title OR add them to the group. I've tried re-creating the group and subscription but none are working?

Any ideas?? :ermm:

Are you talking about paypal subscriptions or group memberships?

If they are paypal subscriptions, you have to do something on the paypal side as well.

PayPal subscriptions yes, and I've done the PayPal side of things.

It was working until I renamed the group and then re-created the group with the same name.. :disappointed:

Also, is there a way I can edit it so that the CUSTOM field also has their FORUM USERNAME?

how u mean dod something on the side of paypal - aint got a clue what u mean
I tired subscriptions a while bakc and they never worked so gave it up as a bad job.
In paid subscribtions i put me paypal details - even got email when someone payed 1p as a tester but i set them to go into mod group but it never moved them and they never saw nothing different

and yeah i ran the cron jobbie as well

What does the cron job do? I have subscriptoins working now (I just had someone subscribe, will have a look at the details in a minute).

well if i waited for the cron job to run would of meant another 6hrs so just ran it early but it still never worked regardless.Maybe im missing something

I set up the paypal with my email etc - they click the subscription - go to paupal and pay - they then get sent back to the forums but no new access,not thi sis the part thats throwing me.

FIXED - problem lies with paypal options not with vbull which does it part quite well.
U need to edit your setting in paypal to accept the payments auto or it will sit there waiting for u to do em manually.
