Private Message auto confirm
 

I love the concept of being able to track messages that were sent. I don't like knowing it is contingent upon the recipient's action to the 'sender confirmation' prompt.

Is there an easy way to make it so that users aren't prompted to send a read receipt? I prefer it be done automatically if it is read so there is no mystery.

That's a default function of vBulletin, setable per usergroup.
Go to:

AdminCP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > Pick Edit Usergroup for the usergroup you want to edit > Set Can Deny Private Message Read Receipt Request to No

Thanks. I remember seeing that option one time, but I don't go in there very often. Definitely appreciated, I figured I'd need a custom hack or something. :)
