Generic Shell Template

Why aren't the changes I make in this template reflected on my site?

oh :( I thought it was like the IPB shell template

thanks for the reply.

Just out of curiousity and to save a double post what are the key templates, like generic shell? to change the main html around the forum?

Also is there a way to edit the CSS without that stupid CSS manager thing?

What are you wanting to do?

element.au 12-05-2004 09:22 PM

I wanted to change my from the default (http://www.c1x.net/forum/index.php?styleid=2) to something along the lines of www.c1x.net/forum.html

While most of the changes are just basic css color changes I want the top and bottom to reflect my html changes on the above mentioned page. I hope this makes sense :(

the top and bottom are in the header / navbar and footer templates.

Other than that every page has it's own main template, usually thats the templatename that's all in CAPITALS.

The UserCP is an exception, you'll want to change the USERCP_SHELL there.

Thanks Colin.

Just one last thing, does anyone know how I can edit CSS in a textbox style, instead of in the gui interface?

You really can't

You could just define everyting in the text boxes on the side instead of using the interfaces.

Thanks anyway :(
