Rebuild userids
If this has been made already, then I hope someone can direct me to the thread :)
At any rate, I was wondering if it'd be possible to have a hack which would rebuild the userids to the correct number. For example, if you delete a user (for whatever reason), the ID number is still saved, so whomever registers will go from, say... 706 to 708, even when the deleted user is no more. So what I'd like is for a means to have it go like 706, 707, etc. , even when a user is deleted. Thanks in advance :) |
I asked for something like this on vB 2 but found or got nothing. For some reason my forum's user ID's went from 700 to 3000 in one user. It was strange. It's still like that though

With much effort, one could re-number userids - but why should one want to do this?
