right click, save as...
 

Is there anyway of stopping users from right clicking and using the save as or save target as for images?

I can do this with Java script in normal html, but if you have XP in explorer 6 their are two ways round this, one is to hover the mouse over the image and the small icon menu appears in the top LH corner of the image. The other is to click and hold left mouse button, then click and hold right mouse button, then let go of the left and then the right.

Any help much appreciated for both html and bb.

This isn't really a hack, more of a scripting thing. There is no effective way to stop users saving images, because if they want it they will get it. Also, using these sort of scripts makes users more determined to save the image.

That's cool, thanks fella. Was just trying to avoid doing the following to each image as it spoils it really. The reason for this, is that I discovered that another website was using my pic without permission

Instead of doing the copyright over it, put in the bottom left in white or black text Picture taken by, and ? Copyright Your Name.

If they use your pictures without permission email them a cease & desist for copyright infringement :)
