display logon info on a seperate page
 

hi guys
i got my board installed to /forum
and ive got my website at /

i want to do is when a user visits /index.php it connects to the forum to see if there logged in and if they display a set of links like logout, edit profile etc and if not display the login form with registration link

i have done this with phpbb but is there anyway to do this with vbull?

i need to do it because i want to validate users to make sure there logged in for a certain part of the website im building

i asked on vbulletin.com but was reffered here, hope ive got the right forum.
