poor slobs who paid for vbulletin, do you realize how many free bulletin board systems there are out there, with more features?? OPEN YOUR EYES, there are at least 50 more systems out there, all free, and some that dont even require a mysql database! I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY THAT YOU WASTED YOUR MONEY!

There may be 50 other systems out there but none of them have the level of customization of vBulletin. The only one out there that might have came close was IPB but they are no longer free. Plus the level of support we get from vBulletin is far better than anything you'll be able to get from a free system. I for one feel that I made a very good investment - In fact I plan on buying another license or two when I get the money.

You'r right, there are plenty other bulletin-board programs available.
I've already used some of them (phpBB, UBB, Ikonboard, Woltlab Burning Board, YABB) - and none of them is as scalable, feature-rich and customizable as vBulletin.

But galacticomm was an awesome BBS program, none of the others even got close.

I did a ton of research before lic vbulletin and it has proved to be a good buy.

LOL are you serious, thats the worst bull++++ ive heard it a while, you are just afraid of people realizing that they are going to waste their money, vbulletin has much less customization than most other boards, and it costs a lot more, you could do everything you wanted and much more with numerous other forums around, all free no less! I hope you guys are happy with the $85 you are out of, which is a ridiculously high amount for a forum, with no advantage in sight
