Ads solution

I have a subforum for ads posting. Usually in the posts that are created there, it get's out of control because of the comments regarding the prices, stuff which are being sold e.t.c

I want to ask if there is a solution that will protect the users who are selling items from being bumped with annoying comments which at the end ruins their ad.

I've seen in another vb, that when a user made a post ad in the specific forum, the topic locked immediately after and whoever wanted to ask or buy the product should send a pm. I think that's the best solution. I found an auto lock thread mod but it's for vb 2.x and it use's phrases from message or body to auto lock so it isn't what I want.

Is there a mod which suits my needs or anything else similar you have to suggest ?
