Custom forum selection for Get New Posts?
 

The hack I am proposing is one that would allow users to configure their "Get New Posts" links so that they can filter out the posts from forums they are not intersted in. Maybe a list of check boxes where they can either choose the threads they want or don't from each of the forums? This would really make alot of forum members who are part of big forums happy because they wouldn't have to wade through as many posts to get the ones they want to participate in.

How hard would this be to setup?

They simply subscribe to the forums they are interested in with no notification (choosing e-mail notification doesn't prevent it from working, it just isn't neccessary), then hit the New Posts in Subscribed Forums link.

Oh great, it´s not complete what´s i need, but also a other good way to finish my idea.
