I am having a problem on my board where guests do not show at all although they have been set to be displayed online. I found a tool at vb.com named mycookies.php. I used it to delete all the cookies. And as I was still on the page, I did a refesh and watched the new session created for the guest that I became. However, that new session is not being inserted in the session table of the database, so is the reason why I cannot see guests.

What could cause a guest session not to be inserted in database
