Only adults 18+ can register
 

Hi, my website youradultworld.com will be an adult site that only adults 18 and over can register on. I found a post that said to replace the two occurences of the age '13' in register.php with the age you want to be the minimum. I did this and in admincp enabled the option that disallows registration to anyone younger than 13 I believe.

When someone tries to 'register' they are prompted first for their date of birth, if they select something younger than 18 it tells them that they must be atleast 18, but if they enter a birthdate such as 1980 for example, registration progresses to step two, which asks for username, password, email, date of birth (again), etc.

During the 2nd part of registration when it asks for your birthdate again, no matter what I enter for birth year, it says registration is complete, but at the top left of the screen it gives an error message:

Warning: Compilation failed: missing ) at offset 30 in /home/youradul/public_html/register.php on line 437

When I replace the two occurrences of '18' back with 13, I don't seem to get the error message.

This is a very important yet basic modification needed by me, if someone would help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Nevermind :) Apparently when I change it back to '13' I get the same error message which must mean this error was happening before I started changing the 13 to 18. The only modifications that have been done were the Arcade hack and I followed directions closely and ran into no problems and the arcade games work great.

I want to turn my vBulletin script into a dating script with zipcode searching, picture uploading, paypal payments, etc. But since no one wants to do this project for me I am left trying to figure out how to do it myself, but apparently I am having problems possibly before I even started.

If you would answer your emails and PM's that I sent you over 3 weeks ago you would find that I have done a significant chunk of the requests that you have resubmitted.

I have the ZIP file sitting on my desktop just waiting for the payments to be recieved then I can send it to you.

(As an aside, I would recommend anyone who is thinking about working for youradultworld to not bother as this person appears to me to be a time waster who has you spending hours on a hack then doesn't respond to you at all, doesn't pay, and leaves you with a package that you can't do anything with that took you ages to put together. :angry: )

If it is some sort of age verification hack I may be interested in purchasing it

I'm looking at breaking it down into sections and releasing at least one bit of it. It's just a case of having a couple of hours to decompile it and redo everything again into more manageable, less customized chunks.
