Hack help: Email notification for moderated events
I have a calendar that is moderated.
When a user adds an event, I would like to send an email that says "Thanks for requesting to add an event to the calendar. You will receive a confirmation email when your event has been approved." After the event is approved by the moderator, I would like to send an approval email to the user who added the event. I created a new phrase (new_email_review) with the email text, and tried to edit the calendar.php file with the following code, but have so far been unsuccessful in actually sending an email. Can anyone point out my error? Is there an easier way to accomplish this? if ($visible) { $url = "calendar.php?$session[sessionurl]do=getinfo&e=$eventid&day=$occurdate"; require_once('./includes/functions_databuild.php'); build_events(); eval(print_standard_redirect('redirect_calendaradd event')); } else { $url = "calendar.php?$session[sessionurl]c=$calendarid"; eval(print_standard_redirect('redirect_calendarmod erated')); eval(fetch_email_phrases('new_event_review')); vbmail($email, $subject, $message); echo "sending email..."; } Thanks in advance.
