Disabling BB Code ....

I found the option to Disable BB Code, but what I can't understand is why you cannot disable the [IMG] tag completely. It is highly important that I disable this feature entirely from my forum.

So my question is how do I do it effectively?

You'll need to disable the [img] tag on a forum by forum basis. There probably is a query to run which'll do it quickly for all forums but I don't know offhand where the field is :)

I'm a PHP / MySQL illiterate, I will continue to search for a hack :)

How come the developers of vB felt it necessary to leave this option out? Was there a functionality error?

as said, you have to disable it for every forum separately, that's by design, and nothing bad :)

Why put somthing like the img code as a global option when it better fits as a per forum setting option.

There is img code option, for forums (per forums), PMs, and usernotes.

Yes I found the IMG in the forum settings. I think I understand why the developers did it this way too, quite clever ;)
